Vrindavan, 2017.05.31 (VT): Earlier this month, Yogi Adityanath created a stir with his order against touts and “pandas” of Mathura. “[Pandas and touts] are creating a nuisance towards the pilgrims,” said the Chief Minister while visiting the nearby city of Agra.
In keeping with the Chief Minister’s order, a notice was issued by the government to Vrindavan police and the temple administration, forbidding the presence of any so-called guides who employ coercive tactics towards pilgrims, in the area of Vrindavan’s famous Banke Bihari Temple.
The orders have been displayed outside the temple and are being enforced by local police. Now touts are nowhere to be seen in and around the temple premeses.
