Vrindavan, 2015.12.212 (DJ): The renovation of the Parikrama Marg in Vrindavan will take place in a short notice of time. The Union Government of India has approved funds of Rs 10 crores for this purpose. In its first stage, the PM will be renovated from Chir Ghat to the ISKCON temple, a section of 2.5 kilometers.
Some days ago a meeting was called by the Urban Development Ministry in New Delhi to discuss the renovation. In this meeting, the Braj Foundation presented its vision for the project. It was decided that the 2.5 km section of the path will be developed in the ancient style of Rajasthani craftsmanship. The committee of the Ministry approved the presentation and has given its green signal for the project and work will begin soon.
Sri Krishna Saras, spokesman for the Braj Foundation said that their efforts are working in the diretion of renovating the pat as soon as possible.
A Grand Ghat to be built at Imli Tala
The Braj Foundation society is also working to construct a beautiful ghat near Imli Tala, for which Chief Minster Akhilesh Yadav has given his permission. It is expected that work on this project will proceed soon after the beautification scheme is completed.
The ghat to be constructed at Imlitala will have abundant greenery around it.
Changing rooms for men and women will also be build. A steamer boat will be arranged to ferry tourists on the holy Yamuna River. Plans are also there to install a music system around the premises to fill the atmosphere with devotional music dedicated to Radha and Krishna.
