Appreciating the power of Vrindavan to withstand negative forces, Shankaracharya said, “Vrindavan’s spiritual aura is so great that even though it was half way between the two great centers of Mughal power, it stood as a bulwark against the Islamic attempts to destroy the Sanatan Dharma and they were unable to destroy it despite their efforts.
Swaroopanand Shankaracharya has been at the forefront of the movement to protect Hinduism and India for longer than most of us can remember. He was imprisoned in 1942 for being a freedom fighter.
Adi Shankar, a 9th-century AD reformer of Hinduism, established 4 Shankaracharyas in the four corners of India; North (Jyothirmath), South (Sringeri), East (Puri), West (Dwaraka). The Shankaracharyas are charged with protecting Sanatan Dharma, the path of righteousness.
