Vrindavan, 2016.01.05 (VT): The Nepalese embassy came into action after two months of the illegal demolition of the ‘Bhajan Kuti’, where a large number of Nepalese monks and widows live. The Nepalese bhajan kuti was razed to the ground with the bulldozer by the mafias on the midnight of 6th November 2015, while everyone was asleep.
A team comprising three persons from the Nepalese embassy led by its high commissioner Shri Ram Kharke reached Vrindavan on Monday. Shri Kharke was accompanied by high ranking officials Shri Yadav Khanal and Bahav Bhatt, who stayed in the town for three hours.
The embassy team reached the Vrindavan Kotwali Police station, where they took the update about the case from the police officials. After that they went to the ‘Bhajan Kuti’, where they interviewed the widows and babaji’s living there. The widows pleaded the embassy team to help them getting justice. They also had a conversation with the trust’s secretary Shri Bal Krishna Devacharya, from whom the team took detailed information. The photography and video recording was also made. The team also inquired about the widows staying in the Radha Teela. The embassy team stayed in the ashram about forty five minutes.
District Magistrate Shri Rajesh Kumar said that he assured the Nepalese embassy team that no one can grab the ashram. A case has been registered against the culprits.
Meanwhile, the main accused in the Bhajan Kuti case managed to get bail, as court rejected the charges of attempt to murder and looting. The main accused Bihari Lal said that he was falsely implicated in this case. He said, “Most of the office bearers of the Bhajan Kuti seva sansthan are not alive. Yadunandan Das, the founder of the trust made a will in 2002 in favor of Sarveshwar Das, who did a registered Ikrarnama (agreement) to Trilokinath and his wife Laxshmi Devi on 26th Octobrer 2006.”
“When the current office bearer of the Seva Sansthan came to know about the registry, they approached the court against it. But the court had rejected their appeal. The then Secretary Narayan Sharma filed a case against Bihari lal and his relatives making the accused of forging the registry. But nothing was found against him,” alleged Bihari Lal.
