Vrindavan, 2018.01.25 A group of 15 students who are cycling from Bhopal to Delhi to raise awareness about about reducing pollution and untidiness in India made a stop in Vrindavan, where they visited Shanti Seva Dham on Chatikara Road and spoke to media.

The students reached Vrindavan on 23rd and expect to reach Delhi on 25th, where they will meet Prime Minister Modi. Under the Swachh Bharat movement, PM Modi has been encouraging all levels of government to improve sanitation.

One of the students involved in the rally, Anjali, said that there has been a lot of publicity about “Swachh Bharat”, but, “people can take it for granted. We want to remind people to be stringent about cleanliness because, clean India is healthy India.”

The students on the cycle tour are from the Bhopal School of Social Sciences. They are accompanied by five teachers, making a group of twenty. Vishal, one of the teachers accompanying the group, said that the group cycles around 100km per day, making stops to spread the message of public hygiene.
