Vrindavan, 2018.02.08 (VT) A youth is recovering in hospital after jumping from the second floor of Prem Mandir to test his theory that Lord Krishna will not let him die. Giving an interview from his hospital bed (see here), the youth denied that there was any other reason for jumping, saying that he merely became overwhelmed with emotions after seeing the beauty of the temple.
20 year Vikas from Badayu village was in Vrindavan with his family to visit temples. The family had been in Vrindavan for two days before they went for darshan at Prem Mandir on Wednesday.
When word spread that someone had jumped from the upper level, temple security and visitors rushed to see what had happened. Police arrived and took the youth to hospital where he was admitted in a serious condition.
