Vrindavan, 2016.01.10 (VT): The Vrindavan community mourns the demise of Sant Rangeeli Sharan, who recently passed away in Vrindavan. The saints, Brajwasis and his followers gathered in Shri Hitashram Satsang Bhumi on Gandhi Marg to pay tribute to the departed soul.
Prominent social worker Shri Radha Krishna Pathak said that Rangeeli Sharan Baba’s demise was irreparable loss for Vrindavan. His life was dedicated in preaching to the youth. Despite his old age he remained youthful in his thoughts and actions till his last breath.
Swami Maheshananda Saraswati said, “Swami Rangeeli Sharan always participated in the social activities organized by the various NGO’s. He was an ardent devotee of Banke Bihari and never missed any religious conference in Vrindavan.”
Dr. Ashok Agrawal, a famous pediatrician and Samajwadi party leader from Mathura said, “I am deeply saddened at the sudden departure of Swami Rangeeli Sharan. He was an inspiration for all the social workers of Vrindavan. He was a man of indomitable spirit, profound knowledge and firm conviction.”
Swami Sevananda Brahmachari said, “Whenever he spoke in any event, the audience was fascinated in listening to him. He had a great sense of humor which made him darling to everyone he met.”
Dr. Brajbhushan Chaturvedi, Ashwini Mishra, Gopal Gaud, Anurag Krishna Pathak etc. also shared their memory about Swami Rangeeli Sharan.
