Chief Katha speakers of India gather in Gokul for 5 days

Gokul, 2018.02.16 (VT) Braj’s chief Katha speakers, Maluk Pithadishwar Rajendra Das, and Sadhvi Ritambara Didima as well as speakers from across India including Ramesh Bhai Ojha Maharaj and Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev will share their wisdom in a program at Mathura’s Shri Udasin Karshni Ashram (Raman Reti Ashram).

Gita Manishi Swami Jnananand Maharaj, Govind Giri Maharaj, Amarkantak Maharaj and Kalyanadas Maharaj along with, Karti Harnimadas Maharaj, Swami Karasini Birajanand Maharaj, Awadheshanand Maharaj of Juna-Akhara, and Ramanand Maharaj from Chitrakoot will grace the program.

The festivities will continue until 20th February, with Holi celebrations held on 19th. For full program see here.

The ashram is situated in old Gokul, where Vasudeva first brought the baby Krishna after his birth and placed him in the custody of Nanda Maharaj and Yashoda Maya. The spacious grounds are home to beautiful stone carved statues among shady trees. Thousands of people come to the ashram every day for their midday meal. Read about the ashram here.
