(VT.) Vrindavan Today acquired a copy of an email in which Satyanarayana Dasa Babaji explains in further detail the circumstances surrounding his confession. In the confession, the embattled Vrindavan, IN based Babaji revealed details of successful property theft and hiring assailants to “rough up” critics. Now Satyanarayana Das Babaji explains the confession was a lie written with the intention to please his Gurudeva, Sri Haridas Shastri Maharaja.

Recently Bhrigu has circulated a confession letter supposedly written by me in 2009. Let me tell the background of this letter in brief.
The letter was written by me under the order of Maharaja. One day Bhrigu called me and told me that Maharaja wants me to come and stay at Kalidaha for some days, and I must go there immediately. I packed few things and immediately went to Kalidaha. Bhrigu gave me the room next to the bathroom (next to office room). Then he told me that Maharaja has asked me to write a confession letter. He gave me the points of confession. He said that I must write it as if it is coming from me. Taking it as an order of my gurudeva I wrote the confession letter. I gave it to Bhrigu. Bhrigu got it typed and then came back asking to add few more things. I think he was consulting some other god bothers, like Japesh. I made changes. At that time I was checking Maharajajji’s Bhaktirasmaritasindhu book, So I worked on it in the room. When it was time to eat Bhrigu told me that I must get my food from Jiva. So I got my dinner, ate and went to bed around 10pm. Around midnight Bhrigu came and woke me up and said that we have to send this confession letter to all my contacts immediately. In those days I was not working on computer. I used to write my emails by hand and give to Jaya to type and send. I did not have the addresses of my contacts. He asked me to call Jaya. He said this was Maharaj’s order. I did that and then both of us sat till 4 in the morning sending the confession letter. After it was done he asked me to leave and go back to Jiva Institute. So early morning I arrived back to Jiva.
After few days Padmanabha asked me to contact a very important officer to help Maharajaji. This was one of my service to Maharajaji I refused because after writing this confession letter I had no status to deal with such an officer. Padmanabha told this to Maharajaji. Maharajaji called me and asked me to contact the officer. In my life this was the first time that I refused to Maharajaji. Maharajaji asked me why I did not want to contact. I told him that after writing the confession letter which contains lies in it I do not feel morally strong. Maharaja questioned me, “Why did I write it?”. I replied that it was his order. He said that is not true. I said that that is what Bhrigu told me. He said to call Bhrigu. I called Bhrigu and when I told him that Maharaja did not order me to write the confession letter, Bhrigu’s face became pale. He had no answer. He said that we will talk this later. I was recording the whole conversation. When Bhrigu saw that he shouted at me and asked me to stop the recording. I stopped it but I still have the recording up to that point as a proof. In this recording Maharajaji clearly says that he did not ask Bhrigu to call me and ask me to write confession letter.
Bhrigu will say that Maharaja asked him not say that he has asked it. Bhrigu said the same thing about the Arunodaya, which was written only to criticize me. But when I asked Mahrajaji about it he said that this is a product of Bhrigu’s ego and that he wants to become guru. So he has to put me down.
You may believe Bhrigu’s stories but please listen to my side also. Bhrigu is slandering me openly for last 12 years and I have kept quiet. So many people are taking his words as true.
But he has given no proof to support his words. He went and complained to police against me. I am staying in my ashram. If I am such a criminal why I have not run away? But he is running away and writing that I want to get him killed. Does he have any proof of it? Why shall I get him killed? What is my benefit by killing him? But this is how he makes people like Dinesh sentimental and then exploits them for funds. These funds should be given for Goseva and not to Bhrigu who is only working to disrupt Goseva. Any help given to him means going against guru maharaja.
