Mathura 2016.04.21 (VT): Birthplace of Lord Shri Krishna, Mathura has got one more opportunity to be a part of National Capital Region (NCR). Central Government has asked for the proposal inthis context, whose presentation will be given by the MVDA Vice President Mr. C. P. Singh.
The city of Mathura, which is only 145 kilo meters far from the national capital, has been trying for long to be a part of NCR. However the distance of the city from the Delhi boundary is just 125 kilo meters. The people of Braja were keen to be a part of NCR development, for which the then MLA Kunwar Manwendra Singh took the initiative. Pesent MLA Mr. Pradeep Mathur is putting his efforts for it as of now. MP Ms. hemal Malini is also tryong to support the cause at her level.
The position to be a part of NCR is even more stronger this time because Bharatpur is far from NCR in comparison to Mathura, still it is now a part of NCR. Now the Government is again trying to widen the borders of NCR for which it is looking for a proposal from Mathura which will showcase the importance of Mathura in NCR.
This proposal will be presented to Central Government by the MVDA Vice President Mr. C. P. Singh on April 28th.
