Thakur Bankey Bihari Ji gave Charan Darshan to devotees

Vrindavan 2016.05.10 (VT): Devotees visiting Vrindavan to visit Thakur Bankey Bihari Ji were overwhelmed after doing the Charan Darshan of Thakur Ji on the occassion of Akshay Tritiya. This occasion of Charan darshan comes once in a year on the day of Akshay Tritiya, for which dedvotees from all over the world visit the holy city of Vrindavan. The doors fo the temple were opened half an hour before seeing the enthusiasm of the devotees.

Temple committee had special preparations for the Charan darshan on Monday. Thousand of devotees were waiting for the doors to open for the Charan Darshan of Thakur Ji. Thakur Ji also were dressed in flowers which was attracting the devotees further. Chaaran darshan was supposed to start from 7:45 am, but seeing huge crowd and enthusiasm of the devotees, temple authorities opened the doors around 7:00 am itself. As soon as the doors were open, devotees thronged the temple along the slogan for Thakur Ji.

Earlier yesterday sewayats coated sandal wood on the body of Thakur Ji to prevent him from the scorching heat. The sandal wood paste which sewayats weere preparing from days were mixed with camphor before applying it on Thakur Ji. Other devotees were doing kirtan in the temple which made the aura of the temple more devotional.

Devotees found themselves blessed after having the chandan prasad of Thakur Ji. People started visiting the temple from early morning which lasted around 10:00 pm on Monday. City administration also had deployed many policemen to secure the area and to manage the crowd.

Beautiful darshan at Seven Main Temples

Thakur Radha Vallabh, Sewa Kunj and Thakur Sneh Bihari were also decorated on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya. Devotees keep visiting these temple till late night. The deities of the seven main temple viz. Thakur Radha Damodar, Radha Raman, Radha Gopinath, Radha Govind, Radha Madan Mohan, Radha Gokulanand and Radha Shyam Sundar were also decorated with sandal wood paste along with the decoration from flowers and other decorative items.
