Mathura 2016.05.14 (VT): Shridevi Asahaay Seva Sansthaan Sonai has staretd Bhagwat katha to support the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” initiative by the Central Government and also to raise awareness for saving the cows.
The programme started with the kalash yatra of 1111 kalash (urn). The yatra started from Shridevi Asahaay Seva Sansthaan near the railway station and reached back to the ashram via Thok Vrindavani and Nagla Baari areas of Mathura.
The Bhagwat Katha was illustrated by Swami Chandan Maharaj at the ashram itself. Karanveer Singh Rawat, Manish Kumar Rawat, Gangadhar, Alok Rawat, Unish Kureshi, Nazar Pehalwaan, Brajnandan Upadhyay, Suresh Pradhan, Jagdish Pehlwaan, Rajveer Pathak, Bhuvan Sharma, Mahesh Chaudhary apart from others were present in the bhagwat katha.
