Problem in Bankey Bihari organising committee formation

Vrindavan, 2016.05.24 (VT): The election for the four-member organising committee at Bankey Bihari temple took place over a month ago, but the process of forming the committee with the elected members has not yet been started. This has created a doubtful situation about whether the committee will be formed at all in the future.

The elections for the organising committee of the temple took place on April 24th, at which four members were elected. Gaurav Goswami and Dinesh Goswami were elected for the Shayan Bhoga, and Raj Goswami and Brijesh Goswami were elected for the Raj Bhoga for Thakur Bankey Bihari ji services.

According to Sewayat Prahlad Goswami, the rule is that these four members are then supposed to take a month to select three more members to form a panel of seven members. They then present the list to a judge in Mathura for approval.

The Mathura judge then gives the seven member panel another month to form the organising committee structure. In that time, the seven members have to have to decide on a chairman and a vice-chairman and again present them to the Mathura judge for approval, at which point the organising committee finally becomes functional.

The problem is that the four elected members have not been able to come to any agreement about who the three additional members from outside will be. The cause appears to be internal disputes among the elected members.
