Vrindavan 2016.06.09 (VT): Day three of the Bhagwat Katha by Radha Krishna Maharaj turned into a sacred gathering of famous saints of Vrindavan. During the discourse by Maharaj, famous saints Krishna Chandra Shatri Thakur Ji, Shri Ramanujacharya Dharacharya Ji Maharaj and Rajendra Daas Maharaj visited Fogla Ashram to hear the Bhagwat Katha.

During the discourse, Radha Krishna Maharaj spoke about the benefit children can get from their parents in context to spirituality. He said that parents should promote their children for more and more satsang (spiritual gathering and discourse) as that reduces fear and increases the affection for the Lord. He also said that satsang demolishes evil in human beings and develop positive qualities in them. Later on he also told that son’s should also help their parents to have spiritual gains. During the discourse, he also mentioned about various avatars of Lord Vishnu and how they have helped mankind since the begning of the time.

Krishna Chandra Shatri Thakur Ji also gave a small discourse on how we should live in Braj dhaam. He said that we should always worship four Ranis’ (queen in hindi) in Braj as they are dear to Lord Krishna. These four Ranis’ are Raj Raani (dust of Braj), Yamuna Rani (river Yamuna), Braj Rani (Braj bhoomi as a whole) and most important Radha Rani who is Lord Krishna’s eternal consort.

Shri Ramanujacharya Dharacharya Ji Maharaj spoke about Ramayan and the past times of Lord Ram and his brothers, specifically about Shatrughn Maharaj. He said that Shatrughn Maharaj was the true example of how the youngest family member should act within a household. He also said that due to the mercy of the Lord Ram, we are getting the benefit of Bhagwat Katha siting in Vrindavan dhaam itself.
Bhaktmaal Shri Rajendra Daas Ji Maharaj said Vrindavan is a place of joy and festivals and we should atleast have one celebration in a year for our deities, in the temple or at home, to please the Lord. He highlighted the importance of devotion over knowledge of Krishna. He said that Lord happily accepts our services offered with love and affection.
