Vrindavan 2016.08.01 (VT): Braj Vikas Trust (BVT) has recently restored six more temples in Shergarh, Vrindavan and Mathura. The inauguration of these temples, their dedication to Krishna, will be celebrated on Aug 6 and 7.
Trust Founder Vishwnath Chaudhary made the announcement in a press conference yesterday. “This work is being done as a service to the Dham and to Lord Krishna,” he said, “So we offer our service selflessly by saying krishnarpanam astu.”
Mr. Chaudary said that BVT has recently restored Madan Mohan, Baldau and Chintaharan temples located in Shergarh. The restoration work will be celebrated and a feast distributed at the Radha Govind temple also on Aug 6. Radha Gopal temple of Vrindavan and Dirgh Vishnu temple of Mathura will also be unveiled on Aug 7, which has also been restored b BVT.

Secretary of BVT Mr. Ramakant Goswami said that the Trust has revived seven kunds in the past 10 years. In 2010 the Balbhadr temple at Talvan, Kaliya Mardan temple in Vrindavan, Prem Sarovar at Barsana, Dek Kund of Uncha Gaon and Bahulavan at Vati have been restored.
In 2011 Nawal Bihari temple, Nawal Kund, Nayan Sarovar and Chandra Sarovar at Govardhan were all returned to their previous glory.
Ramakant Goswami said that he has invited many prominent sants of Braj for the celebration like Karshni Guru Sharananand Swami, Vijay Kaushal Maharaj, Murari Bapu, Shrivatsa Goswami and many others.
