Sri Andal is popularly known Sri Godha has shrine in Sri Balaji Mandir in Vrindavan. On the auspicious occasion of Godha’s Birth day, Andal Goshti ( Ladies group ) is performing in This in Sri Balaji Mandir.
Sri Andal’s love for Lord Krishna is well known and has herself written poetry called ” Nachiyar Thirumozhi ” describing her love for Lord Sri Krishna and ultimately marries Lord Krishna.
This poetry is chronologically performed in Dance format set to traditional Music by Mumbai Andal Goshti. This group is well known for their performance in this form of presentation in Typical Gopika Style.
Manager at Bajali temple, Kaushalya Sridharan told our correspondent that this festival will also mark a fusion of the culture from south and North India.
