Devotees from all over theworld throng Vrindavan to be a part of Sanhi Mahotsav. Yogendra Goswami, sewayat at Radha Vallabh temple, said that Sanjhi has been an eternal part of the Braj culture, which is directly related to the pastimes of Radha and Krishna. He said that when Krishna used to return with cows every evening, Radha used to make beautiful arts for him using colours, clay, cow dung and flowers. Since the time was evening or “sanjh” in Hindi, hence the name Sanjhi.
