Vrindavan, 2015.11.05 (VT). The 172th Nimbarka Acharya-Vrinda Jayanti Mahotsava celebration shall commence from Kartika Krishna Panchami, Monday 1st November 2015, at the historic Nimbarka-Koat temple in Vrindavan. This Mahotsava is one the oldest continuing celebrations in Vrindavan. It is an event where devotees can see the whole traditional Rasa-Sadhana worship of the Nimbarka tradition in its pristine form.
Nimbarka-Koat Sevayat Acharya Vrindavan Bihari ji says that Kartika month is dedicated to the worship of Bhagwan Vishnu and thus it has a special significance for Vaishnavas. For the Nimbarka Sampradaya, this month has still greater importance since along with Jayanti Utsavas of Bhagwan Hamsa, the Adyacharya Sanakadikas (i.e., the four Kumaras), Sampradaaya-acharya Nimbarka and Pravartaka-acharya Harivyas Devacharya, the Jayanti Utsavas of many others in the parampara, like Swayambhuraama Devacharya and Balgovinddasaji Maharaj, also occurs during this time.
The Mahotsava starts on the Panchami with daily Bhagwata Paarayana and evening Samaj-gayan sessions evening. The detailed program of Mahotsava is as follows:

It is interesting to note that Rasacharya Swami Amichand Sharma has been conducting the Raas Leela at Nimbark-Koat for the last 25 years. For any Braja lover and Vaishnava interested in understanding Braja culture, this celebration is a must. The temple Sevayats are trying hard to maintain this tradition with great dedication and affection.
