Vrindavan, 2017.02.22 (VT): A farewell party was organized at Samvid Gurukulam for the class 12th students on Wednesday. The event, planned by the junior students of Samvid for their seniors was a fun filled one.
The farewell witnessed laughter mingled with tears. Apart from the cultural events, three best students were selected from the outgoing batch. The best three students were honored during the function.
Stuti Paramananda, a student of class 12 was selected as Miss Samvid. Anjali Gupta was selected as the first runner up, while Kriti Agarwal was the second runner up among the three best students. The girls were decked up in some interesting costumes. Memories of the school were brought alive by several photo collages that were presented to them. The juniors dedicated several dance performances to their seniors.
Soumya and Ananya, the organizers of the event said, “We wanted our seniors feel special. They have been a great help for the juniors, and set examples on how to spend school life.”
School’s chairman Shri Sanjay Gupta, Secretary Shri Lalit Kishor Mittal, Shri Vibhor Prakasham, the Chief Manager of the Vatsalya Gram blessed the students during the occasion.
Smt. Priti Mehra, Prinicipal of Samvid Gurukulam; Shri Sishupal Singh, the Educational Director of the School and the teachers were present in the farewell event. The event concluded with the love feast and the distribution of the gifts.
