Vrindavan, 2018.03.15 (VT): The annual Brahmotsava festivities at Shri Rangji Mandir of Vrindavan concluded on Thursday. Hundreds of ardent devotees of Rangnath ji were present to witness the concluding moments. Religious fervor marked the occasion as the temple priest conducted the ritual by chanting hymns from Vedas.
Mammoth Rangolis were made to welcome Goda Rangnath on the last day of their visit to the sprawling garden of Bare Bagicha. The Lordships of Goda Rangmannar returned late night of Thursday riding on the Pushpak Viman.
It was mesmerizing moment for the devotees, who attended the ‘savari’ of both times of the Lordships during the ten day long festival. Every day there were processions in the morning and evening. The Lord appeared on different vahans (carriers). Every vahan of the Lord has its own significance.
The colorful flower petals were used to make the blooming Rangoli near the western gate of Rangji Mandir. The petals of Mogra, rose and marigold and the green leaves were used to design the grand rangoli.
Another grand Rangoli was made with the colored powder (gulal) in front of the Rang Lakshmi Sanskrit Vidyalaya. The design of rising sun on the sea shore was displayed here.
