Braj, 2018.03.17 (VT) In the last few days, several cases have been reported of healthy livestock dying from a unknown causes. Cases have been reported in Karahari and Irauli Gujar of the Mant district.
There have been several reports of otherwise healthy milch animals dying suddenly. Six cases have been reported from Karahari and surrounding villages and now another three cases have arisen in Irauli Gujar village.
Villagers are upset at the death of their animals and are frustrated that they have no idea of the cause. Villagers said that they are not aware of any investigation into the matter. Bijendra Singh, Javahar and Satish from Irauli Gujar have lost buffalo. In each case, the death of the animal was sudden and no cause could be identified.
