Vrindavan 2016.04.04 (VT): Thakur Godarangmannar came out on Saturday riding on a horse made of gold as a part of the ongoing Bramhotsava festivities. At around 9:00 pm Thakur Ji came out for a ride to his garden, to enjoy the cool breezes at his pavilion there. His ride was accompanied with heavy fireworks that were watched by thousands of visitors.
During the ten days long Bramhotsava festival of Ranganathi Temple, Thakur Godarangmannar comes out each evening on a different chariot. Adorned with diamond and other jewels, Thakur Godarangmannar rides this beautifully sculpted horse.
The chariot reached the garden around 9:00 pm where the lord rested for a while. People played heavy fireworks there to amuse the lord, which ran for around half an hour. On Sunday, the same scene was reenacted only this time with the Lord riding on a palanquin of silver and gold.
