RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat in Vrindavan

Vrindavan 2016.05.16 (VT): RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat is in Vrindavan for a two day visit, for which he reached the Keshav Dham at Chaitanya Vihar on Friday. He met the saints, politicians, MPs & MLAs, local businessmen and his associates in RSS.

He left for Govardhan and Barsana to meet the prominent sants over there, as scheduled. Keeping in consideration about the sensitivity of the visit, the intelligence bureau and police department kept high vigilance in the city. Keshav Dham was also covered with high police security.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat reached the RSS offices at Keshav Dham at around 10:30. At around 12:00 pm MP Ms. Hema Malini reached the office to discuss various issues with him. The meeting ran for 30 minutes, in which they discussed about the work done in the past two years, along with the plans for further development.

He also met several sants from Vrindavan, who assured him their assistance in spreading religious awareness among the people.

From April 15 to 17th, a three-day camp for students is being held in Keshav Dham. Various competitions of physical and intellectual will be held. 150 students from the Northeastern states, who stay in government run hostels will be participating.

This camp officer Satish Chandra Agarwal said that tug of war competition, sack races, kabaddi, three-legged races, shot put, kho kho, treasure hunts, long jump, relay races, etc. Competitions will be organized in four groups according to age. Under intellectual competitions there will be quizzes, speech giving, word chains, calligraphy, knowledge of wisdom sayings and proverbs.

Keshav Dham Director Lalitji said students from Meerut, Saharanpur, Aligarh, Vrindavan, and Shikohabad will present an exhibit highlighting various national and social issues. Punjab-Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki will be present at the closing ceremony as the chief guest.
