Vrindavan 2016.05.04 (VT): Deputy Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lieutenant General A. K. Singh reached the Hasanand Goshala on Tuesday where he offered his respects to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya and the cows. After that he inspected the amenities in the goshala.
He said that all goshalas need to be self sufficient for which assistance from the Government is required. He said that breeding is essential for cows, apart from that cow milk, ghee, cow urine and cow dung have multiple uses that will help to save the cows in turn.
Cowshed should also have better breeds of bulls to produce superior offspring. This will also improve the quality of dairy products like milk and butter.
Mr. Singh also said that Hasanand Goshala should be developed as an ideal environment for protecting the cow that others can follow and learn how to be self sufficient.
He has also asked youths to be a part of the movement to save cows.
