Mathura 2016.06.02 (VT): Braj Developmnt and Planning Board (BDPB) have developed a mobile application to facilitate the darshan of Dwarikadheesh online and benefit the devotees round the globe. “Braj Darshan” mobile app will facilitate live darshan of Dwarikadheesh to the devotees, sitting at home.
The application developed by BDPB will cover all the information required by devotees for the temples in Braja. It will cover all the main temples in Mathura, Vrindavan, Govardhan, Barsane and Gokul. The app will also provide information about how to reach these temples via road, rail and air ways. It will also provide weather forecast beside live drashan of the deities. BDPB is already testing this app starting with Dwarikadheesh temple.
The app will have other supporting functions as well like information about hotels, restaurants, parking facilities, taxi services, CNG pump location, emergency services and public facilities. It will also have an inbuilt map to guide users from one place to other. Users will also be able to use these services offline also.
Rajiv Yadav, member of the development team in BDPB, said that the app is ready to use and they are waiting for its launch now. MVDA Vice Chairman C.P. Singh said that the app has been developed after the suggestions and guidance from the CM Akhilesh Yadav. The meeting on this ap is going to happen today in Lucknow where after a final testing this app will be launched. Also the board will decide about the further projects of BDPB for Braja.
