Vrindavan, 2016.07.12 (V.T.): The devotees and the residents of Vrindavan witnessed a shower of flower from the Helicopter on the newly built grand temple of Bhagwan Vardaraja, on Monday during the festivity of Mahasamprokshan. Lord Vardaraja is one of the names of Lord Vishnu, whose temple was established at the Bara Khatla ashram in Vrindavan, 135 years back. The helicopter was hired from a private aviation company from Jaipur.
The Mahasamprokshan ritual was conducted by 108 brahmins. In connection with the fete, Punyavachanam, Mritsangrahanam, Ankurapanam, Vastu Shanti, Akalmash Homam, Agnipratishtha, Mahashanti Trirumanjanam, Sayandhivasam were performed on Moday. The marriage ceremony of the Lord was also conducted during the Hastha Nakshatra and Singha lagna.
Various cultural troupes performed during the event. The devotees were soaked in the Divine Melody delivered by the Cinestar Manoj Tiwari, the night before on Sunday. Later, he was honored by the ‘Singi family’, who are the major contributor in the festival.
The presiding seers of the Bara Khatla ashram, Swami Jai Krishnacharya and Mahant Rameshwaracharya blessed all the devotees who participated in the Divine event.
