Vrindavan, October 5th 2015 (VT): “One of the most important aspects of progression in all spheres of life is offering and provision of services to others without any thought whatsoever of reward or self gratification. Selfless service should be offered and provided out of a genuine and deep desire to help and be of service to others. The key to attain the virtue of seva is not to expect anything in return. Selfless service has been one of the most extolled virtues of all times. The value of selfless service is found in many religions and spiritual traditions around the world,” said Sadhvi Ritambhara during an eye camp organized at the Vatsalya Gram. She added that the effect of the service should spread like fragrance.
A team led by Dr. Shyam Agarwal from Mumbai performed cataract surgery on 225 patients. The patients came from 150 villages of Rajasthan, Delhi and from Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Rahul Jain, Dr. R.R. Shukla, Dr. Anand Jaipuria, Dr. Anuj Bahua were the members of the team of doctors who performed the surgery. The eye camp was organized with the support from Shri Devkinandan Jindal of Mumbai in memory of his father Shri Brahmanand Jindal.
The medicines and spectacles were distributed to the patients for free during the eye camp. Shri Devkinandan Jindal, Dr. Tarachand, Dr. R.R. Shukla, Smt. Manish Gupta (Mathura Municipal Chairperson) also addressed event.
Sadhvi Swaroop, Meenakshi Agarwal, Dr. Abhay Kumar Rai, Mahesh Khandelwal, Lalit Kishor Mittal, Devendra Dubey, balaji Chatruvedi, Swami Satyasheel, Sadhvi Samahita, Sadhvi Sadhya, Sadhvi Sadguna, Sadhvi Sudesh, Sadhvi Varsha, Ramakant Sharma, Arvind Mishra, Kamlesh Pandey, Rangnath Soni, Jitendra Anajana, etc., were also present in the event.
