Mathura 2016.08.22 (VT): The Mathura Police Department is all set to secure the district for the Janmashtami festival.
The city has been divided into three zones and 14 sectors for effective security measures. Police personnel along with Special Task Force (STF), Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), Rapid Action Force (RAF) and Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) personnel have also been deployed for extra measures.
The Police have made special preparations for the Shri Krishna Janmotsav (Janmashtami) celebrations on Aug 25 and 26. Watch towers have been raised to keep an eagle eye watch on every movement in all public areas. Small police teams have already started patrolling the city day and night. A master plan has also been prepared to secure the main areas of the city, which will be effective from Aug 24 to 26.
