Mathura 2016.09.13 (VT): Lord Dwarikadheesh, along with Lal Ji Prabhu, has reached Mathura from Rajkot yesterday. Lords have returned to Braj after a period of 15 long years which was celebrated grandly by devotees through a kirtan festival.
Lord Dwarikadheesh will be in Braj for the next 38 days, during which he will go for an interim Mathura parikrama followed by Braj 84 Kos Parikrama. While in Braj, Sewayats started the visiti by taking the blessings from Giriraj, Gokulanath and Yamuna Ji. The programme also includes cleaning of Yamuna Ghats, which will pass a message towards river conversation. A grand kirtan festival has also been organised at Vishram Ghat on Tuesday morning.
Dwarkesh Lalji Maharaj (Head of “Vallabhacharya Prakatya Peeth”) along with Goswami Purushottam Lalji Maharaj has installed Lal Ji Prabhu at Radheshyam Ashram located at Bangali Ghat, before leaving for Gokulanath on Monday. Afterwards, they reached Jatipura and Anyor to invite Mahaprabhu to join and bless their Braj Parikrama.

Devotees at Vishram Ghat during Maha-Arti
Today morning at 9am, around 2,000 devotees along with Goswami’s took holy dip in Yamuna, before starting the kirtan festival, which was joined by Lal Ji Prabhu and Lord Dwarikasdhish. A team of devotees also cleaned the footsteps of riverfront to seek mercy from Yamuna Ji.
A shobha yatra of the Lord was taken out at around 10 am from the Ashram, which reached Vishram Ghat. Dwarkesh Lalji Maharaj, Goswami Purushottam Lalji Maharaj and other devotees swear to abide by the rules of Braj 84 Kos Parikrama at Vishram Ghat during the shobha yatra.
