Addressing the conference Swami Avsheshananda said, “The doctrine of Bhagvad Gita was given to mankind by Lord Krishna Himself in the battle of Mahabharata. Bhagvat Gita is all about Dharma and righteousness against all evil forces. When Lord Krishna realized that war with Kaurava Kings couldn’t be won by just remaining truthful, he gave sermon of Bhagvad Gita to Arjun to win the battle as it was a fight between good and evil. Shri Krishna instructed Arjun not to behave like a coward and fight like a king who had interest of his countrymen before self.”

In human life teachings of Bhagvad Gita is nothing less than pure elixir, which gave a meaning to life. We come unto this earth not of our own free will. All is based on Karma performed in previous lives. Based on residual balance of Karma of last life, our soul takes the present form,” said Gita Manishi Gyanananda Ji Maharaj.
