Members of “Dharma Raksha Sangh” reached the ashram in Kotavan, to meet Shree Shree, and demanded to take the initiative for a pollution free Yamuna. Shree Shree said that he himself is serious about the issue and is doing his level best to help reach a solution for it. He said that Yamuna should be pollution-free in not only Vrindavan and Mathura, but also at other places like Delhi.

He spoke about the controversial “World Culture Festival” on the Yamuna floodplains, which saw objections raised by environmentalists in Delhi. They said that the huge event would destroy the ecosystem. Shree Shree responded that in fact the main motive of the event was to make people aware people of the condition of the Yamuna as well as the dying spiritual culture of India. “One is the symbol of the other,” he said.

The World Culture Festival was organised by Art of Living on March 13th 2016 on Yamuna riverfront in Delhi.

 Shree Shree on World Terrorism:

During his discourse, Shree Shree Ravishankar also discussed the terrorism problem the world is facing. He said that tension, jealousy and lack of education are the root causes of terrorism and spirituality is the only way to deal with it. He said that self realization of good and bad is important but it can only be taught through spirituality. Spirituality spreads love which will erase terrorism.
