Vrindavan 2016.06.21 (VT): The Prasad and bhoga offered to Thakur Ji in various temples have failed the purity tests. This has indicated in the impure offerings to the supreme Lord himself. The prasad samples collected from the Jatipura and Daanghaati, which were sold for offering to Thakur Ji, have failed the tests recently followed by the samples collected from Shri Krishna Janmsthan area.
Chief Food Inspector V.K. Raathi said that a testing team collected the sample of food sold near Jatipura and Daanghaati, to offer to Lord Krishna. The results show that all these foods are full of impurities in it. The milk also has 30% to 60% water in it. Even the packaged milk sold here is impure and not good to consume.
He said that the team also took sample of Peda (a type of sweet) from the Shri Krishna Janmsthan area in Mathura in which flour and refined oil were found after the purity tests. The Peda sample collected from Shergarh and Barfi sample collected from Kosikalaan too had the same problem. Besan collected from Hanuman mandir area near Deeg Gate too failed the purity tests. Mr. Raathi said that guilty will be charged as per the law soon.
